Free Shipping Policies
Orders over $3,500 qualify for free standard shipping within Edmonton and surrounding areas. Certain remote locations may incur additional delivery fees; customers will be notified prior to processing.
Ordering Policies
- Customers must provide accurate personal, billing, and shipping information.
- Orders are final once confirmed. Customers are responsible for verifying all order details.
- Blue Ribbon Millwork custom cabinets are built to order. Order cancellations or returns are not accepted, except for damaged or defective items.
- Payment must be completed before production begins.
Design Service Policies
Our design service is free for all customers. Designers provide recommendations based on submitted information. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving designs before purchase. Blue Ribbon Millwork is not liable for design-related decisions once an order is placed.
Trade Program Policies
Blue Ribbon Millwork’s Trade Program is for licensed contractors and professionals in the kitchen and bath industry. Proof of active business is required. Program details may change at any time. Trade Program members are subject to the same terms and conditions as all customers unless otherwise specified.
Promotion Policies
Sales, promotions, and coupon codes are only valid for new orders placed through Blue Ribbon Millwork’s official website. Offers cannot be combined with prior purchases or other promotions unless explicitly stated.
Product Policies
Kitchen Cabinet Policies
Delivery & Shipping
- Standard in-home delivery is included for qualifying orders.
- Customers must have a dry, accessible area ready for delivery.
- Delivery crew will place cabinets in the first dry space; they will not unpack boxes unless visible damage is present.
- Customers are responsible for inspecting all items upon delivery. Concealed damage must be reported within 30 days.
Expedited Orders
- Small orders may be expedited at Blue Ribbon Millwork’s discretion. Additional shipping fees may apply.
Restricted Access Delivery
- Deliveries to areas with special restrictions (e.g., limited access, elevators, urban congestion) may incur extra charges or extended lead times.
Holiday Orders
- Orders placed during November and December may experience longer lead times due to high demand.
Cabinet Replacements & Damages
- Only damaged parts (doors, drawers, panels) will be replaced; full cabinets will not be replaced unless approved.
- Customers must submit claims with photos and details to Blue Ribbon Millwork for review.
Returns, Cancellations, Mistakes
- Custom cabinet orders are non-returnable and cannot be canceled once production begins.
- Hardware and accessory items may have separate return policies.
Hardware & Accessories
Shipping
- Hardware and accessories ship within 2–3 weeks.
- Returns on hardware/accessories are limited; customers must report missing or damaged items within 2 business days.
Sample Door Policies
- Sample doors ship within 5–10 business days (depending on availability).
- Returns must be made in original packaging within 30 days for a full refund.
Painted Wood Cabinetry Disclaimer
- Wood naturally expands and contracts. Joint lines or minor imperfections are normal and not considered defects.
- Exposure to moisture or light may cause discoloration over time. Customers should follow care instructions.
Pricing & Payment
- Prices may change without notice until the order is processed.
- Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, and certified bank transfer.
Best Price Guarantee
Blue Ribbon Millwork strives to provide the best pricing. Submit competitor quotes to request a review. Only current, equivalent quality quotes are eligible. Excludes Trade Program members, discontinued items, and special promotions.
Warranty Policy
- Applies to original purchaser for residential applications.
- Covers defects in materials and workmanship.
- Does not include damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or natural wood variation.
- Claims must include photos and a detailed description and will be reviewed within 72 hours.
Applicable Law
All disputes will be governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and jurisdiction will reside in Edmonton.
